Change the System Account (DB Realm)

The system automatically installs a default user to manage all administrative tasks. This user is referred to as the System Account.

Change the user name or password of the System Account as needed.

Procedure 

1. On the Application server, open a web browser.

2. Enter:

   http://localhost:7001/bbmWebApp/SecurityUtil

3. When prompted, enter the current WebLogic administrator credentials, and select OK.

4. Modify the user name and password for the system account Predefined account used for accessing the system for the first time, and creating the First User in the system. The System Account is also used for specific internal system activities and is not used for application activities. as needed.

   If SAML is configured for the System Account user, an Enable-db-authentication check box is also available. To turn on database authentication as an alternative authentication mechanism for the System Account user, select the check box.

5. Select Change.
