Disable TCP/IP and IP Monitoring services workflow

Follow this workflow to disable TCP/IP and IP monitoring services.

Workflow 

  1. Disable Windows TCP/IP services

    Disable the Windows TCP/IP services from the Windows Control Panel on each application server in the application server cluster.

  2. Disable the Monitoring services

    To disable the Monitoring services, update the tangosol-coherence.xml file on all application servers in the application server cluster.

  3. Restart the application servers in the cluster

    Restart all application servers in the application server cluster.

  4. Confirm the TCP/IP service is disabled

    Verify that the TCP/IP service is disabled by accessing the coherence logs.

  5. Sanity tests

    Perform three tests to verify that the coherence cache is working after making the configuration changes described so far.
