Viewing server cluster configuration
-
Navigate to System Monitoring > Log > Cache.
The Cache page opens.
-
From the Select Cache drop-down list, select the cache for which you want to view or verify server cluster configurations.
-
Click Refresh.
When the page refreshes, in the bottom third of the page you see a row for each host related to the cache, with the following columns of information:
-
Host: identifies the IP address of the identified hosts or cache nodes.
-
ServerName From DB and Server Port: indicate whether the identified host(s) are connecting to the appropriate database.
-
Cache is Clustered: for clustered servers, the value is Yes. Some servers are shown with their cache but not their server names. Server names and server port information are retrieved from the same shared database.
-
Cache Port: indicates the port number through which the cache services communicate between the clustered servers. The default is 8088. Consistency across a cluster is good practice.
-
Cache Start Time: indicates the time at which the cache service starts.
-
Synchronized: indicates the results of the synchronization test across a server cluster.
