Create an OT extension for a scheduling period
Create an OT extension Overtime (OT) extension in WFM, which can be added before or after a shift to extend employee work time. exception for a specific scheduling period only. OT extensions have many attributes that are similar to shift assignments. These attributes include duration, activity Core component of both schedules and time records in Workforce Management (WFM). When an employee performs any kind of work, activities specify the scheduled work and capture employee adherence to their schedule., and linked shift events.
Procedure

Go to Forecasting and Scheduling. Under Work Rules, select OT Extensions.

From the Campaign Name column, expand the campaign Collection of scheduling periods in WFM, which are defined time periods where specific employees target specific workloads. and select the scheduling period for which you want to create an OT extension.

Select Create.

On the OT Extensions screen, complete the fields to define the OT extension.

To add shift events to the OT extension (such as a break):

Expand Shift Events.

Select Add.

From Available Shift Events, select the shift events you want to add to the OT extension.

Select Add Selected Shift Events.
The selected shift events are added to the OT extension.

Select Save.
The new OT extension appears on the OT Extensions page.
