Make lessons and lesson blocks available to organizations

Before you can assign lessons, you need to make lessons and lesson blocks available to the organizations set up in the Workforce Optimization suite.

Once the lessons are available, you can assign them to organizations or to the groups and individuals that belong to organizations.

All lessons or lesson blocks that are made available to an organization are also automatically available to that organization’s suborganization(s). You can view lessons available to a suborganization, but can only make changes to lesson availability for the parent organization.

You can only manage lesson availability if your role privileges include the Add/Remove Availability privilege Permissions associated with each role that define the features of the application a user is able to view and the functionality in the application the user can access.. This privilege is available by default if you have an Administrator, Manager, Instructor, Content Developer or Lesson Availability Manager role. Lesson blocks that contain a lesson that is available to a sub-organization but not the parent organization cannot be assigned to the parent organization until that lesson is also available to the parent organization.
